Barça are airborne and on their way to the Tuscan capital for their fourth match of the pre-season
The squad have taken off from Barcelona airport and are en route for Bologne, where they are expected at about eleven o’clock local time. The players will then take a coach to the team hotel in Florence – about 100 kms away – ahead of tonight’s nine o’clock kick off against Fiorentina.
Club President Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sporting Vice-President Jordi Mestre head the Barça party, with 18 players travelling for the game. Javier Mascherano, Leo Messi, Dani Alves and Neymar Jr, have all stayed in Barcelona following their recent re-incorporation after an extended summer break.
