FC Barcelona on their way to Berlin

Team’s flight takes off at 10.50am CET; is scheduled to touch down in the German capital at 1.10pm CET

FC Barcelona are in the air and headed to Berlin, the site of Saturday’s UEFA Champions League Final. The first team left the Ciutat Esportiva at 9.30am CET for Barcelona–El Prat Airport, where the team plane took off at 10.50am CET. The flight will be two and a half hours long.

Accompanying the squad are Club President Josep Maria Bartomeu, Vice Presidents Javier Faus, Jordi Cardoner, Jordi Mestre and Manel Arroyo, and Directors Susana Monje, Jordi Moix, Jordi Monés, Toni Freixa, Ramon Pont, Joan Bladé, Javier Bordas, Silvio Elías, Dídac Lee, Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca, Ramon Cierco and Pau Vilanova.

Once in Berlin, the team will check in to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, where they’ll rest until the evening training session, scheduled for 7.45pm CET. An hour before, at 6.45pm, head coach Luis Enrique and players Gerard Piqué and Neymar Jr will speak to the media.
