Who Should Barcelona Be Looking To Sign This Summer?

Barcelona will be disappointed with their season this year and will know that they haven’t been up to the standard that they should be as they are one of the elite clubs in Europe. If they are looking to improve this year, they should be looking to make some purchases in the transfer window this summer, and so we thought we’d create a list of players in which they should be interested in signing this summer if they are looking to improve next year.

Since selling Luis Suarez to Atletico last summer on a free, a decision in which we believe Barcelona will be regretting now as they went on to win La Liga, they have been looking for a striker ever since. One player that has been high on their radar for some time now has been Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan who has quickly become one of the most sort after players in Europe right now. He is technically gifted with a. lot of pace and power, but we certainly have the eye for goal also. He would link up great with fellow Argentine Lionel Messi.

Whilst we are in the off season for the football season, many football punters are using online betting sites like these here to bet on the Euros 2020 which have been delayed a year due to the global pandemic caused by Covid-19. These betting sites aren’t only offering the best odds on the non-gamstop market, but they are currently enticing in new customers through their lucrative sign-up offers.

Another striker that Barcelona have been looking at over the past couple seasons is Memphis Depay and with his contract being due up this summer with Lyon, he might even be available on a free. Memphis brings something different to what Lautaro would, as he is more of a natural creator and can play the perfect false nine position for Barcelona. Although, Barcelona fans might argue that they already have many players like this and might be desiring an out and out striker to bag the goals.

And finally, Barca have been in the market for a right-back for some time now, someone that hasn’t replaced Dani Alves and Ricardo Pereira of Leicester might just be that player. He has contributed 4 goals and 3 assists during this season for the Foxes and he is very technically gifted and could be the answer to all of Barcelona’s right back issues. Leicester purchased him for €22 million and will be looking to create a profit on him if they are going to sell him.
