Croatia: Ivan Rakitic
He may have a few hairy defensive moments, but Umtiti was the man whose goal put France into only their third ever World Cup final. He will face Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic on Sunday, with both players determined to emerge victorious.

Croatia: Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic
Both Varane and Modric have been instrumental in getting their respective countries to the final. The French defender put in a monstrous performance in the semi final against Belgium, while the Croatian midfielder is now a genuine contender for the 2018 Ballon d’Or.
