?Philippe Coutinho has admitted he doesn’t know where he’ll be playing his football in the future, but has insisted he’ll always give his best whilst at Liverpool.

The Brazilian playmaker captained the Reds on Wednesday night as they demolished Spartak Moscow 7-0, securing their qualification into the knockout rounds for the first time since 2009.

Not only did he wear the armband on the night, but the pacey midfielder scored a hat trick in the process, being hugely influential throughout the game.

Despite being such an influence, Coutinho stopped short of confirming that he’d be at Anfield beyond January, with the interest from Barcelona expected to be rekindled as soon as the window opens in just under a month.

“I do not know how the future is going to be. What will happen in January, we will know it in January. I do not know if there will be an offer,” he said after the game speaking to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, via the ?Daily Mirror.

“I am at Liverpool and I always do my best when I have the opportunity to play, respecting the jersey and the supporters.

“Last summer there was a job offer in the same way that happens with any employee and I was interested in it. Since I stayed, I have played with will and desire.

“It was a special night due to the result and because I had the armband in such important playing for a club like Liverpool.”

Whilst Coutinho gave up the armband after the introduction of vice-captain James Milner, he was arguably the best player in the second half, creating chance after chance.
