Following the departure of their Brazilian forward Neymar, sold to PSG for a world record fee of £198 million. Barcelona is chasing after the perfect replacement in another Brazilian, Phillipe Coutinho for a huge fee of £138 million pounds. Liverpool is still standing firm refusing to sell their player saying “He is not for sale”. Coutinho signed a five-year deal last summer with The Reds, however, the player recently submitted the transfer request to Liverpool asking to leave Anfield. Barcelona had the previous bids rejected the first one for £72 pounds followed by £90 and £97 million pounds respectively. It is reported that the Catalans are preparing a final attempt to bring Coutinho to Nou Camp for £101 million up-front with £37 million in add-ons. If this deal goes through, it becomes a second highest transfer. Barcelona is also looking for other options like Argentinean Angel Di Maria, Michael Seri and Ousmane Dembele this summer.
Neymar in trouble with his previous employer
Neymar signed for French giant Paris St-Germain for £198 million from Barcelona two weeks back. Barcelona is suing their former star for £7.8 million for breach of contract. You can only see this kind of money at casinos such as online casino Australia. Neymar had signed a five-year deal with the Catalans nine months before Paris St-Germain move and he was paid renewal bonuses. Barcelona now wants him to pay back to them the bonuses he was paid and some of the money as he breached the contract. The money he got paid was meant to be valid until the end of a five-year deal contract. Barcelona informed Paris St-Germain that it should take responsibility to ensure that this amount is paid by them or the player. In the middle of this, Barcelona expressed that it is still withholding £23 million of player’s loyalty bonus fees. Since joining Paris St-Germain, Neymar has three goals under his belt in just two games.
