?Real Madrid obviously value their newest addition very, very highly. Astronomically highly even – as Dani Ceballos is understood to have had a mammoth release clause inserted into his contract.
The 20-year-old former Real Betis midfielder has shown every sign that he could turn into a very special player and those at the Bernabeu have sought to ensure no other club even thinks of luring Ceballos away.
After signing a six-year deal with Real Madrid, many at the club harbour the belief that he is set to become world-class and the €500m release clause, reported via ?AS, definitely proves to the 20-year-old how highly they value his talent.
The Spanish giants had long running interest in Ceballos, along with fierce rivals Barcelona and following his impressive performances for Spain at the Under-21 European Championships – where he was named player of the tournament – Real Madrid wrapped up the deal in a timely fashion.
They have now left no stone unturned in their bid to ensure no rival club makes a move for the midfielder in the next six-years, but only time will tell if Ceballos reaches the heights which many predict is ahead for the young starlet.
The midfielder made 30 La Liga appearances for Real Betis last season and following James Rodriguez’s departure the 20-year-old could force his way into Zinedine Zidane’s plans next season.
