Luis Enrique is the fifth coach to begin his spell with two consecutive league titles

Since his arrival in the summer of 2014, Luis Enrique has enjoyed success after success. After claiming the treble in his first campaign as coach, in his second he has added another three titles to the Club’s collection.

The UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup were won to round off a tremendous 2015 for the blaugranes and now the team has added the 2015/16 league title following the win in the Catalan derby against Espanyol at Camp Nou.

La Liga: the first of a possible double

Winning one of the tightest league title races in recent years comes just a week before the chance to win another trophy. On Sunday 22 May Barça will be competing in the Copa del Rey final in the Vicente Calderón against Sevilla. A 28th victory in the competition would mean the double to round off another highly successful season.
