Fans of FC Barcelona flooded the city’s streets to celebrate the club’s 24th league title, achieved through Saturday’s 3-0 win over Granada.

From 6.00pm local time, the team set off from Ciutat Esportiva toward the World Trade Centre, and after around two hours of passing through the city, before reaching its final destination.

The team’s route passed through Plaça Drassanes, Parallel, Plaça Espanya, and Av. Maria Cristina, which include many famous landmarks.

The fans turned up perfectly dressed for the special day, draped in scarves, flags and jerseys which turned the city into a sea of the club’s colours.

Both supporters and players will be hoping that they will be able to have a repeat of what took place, as they have the chance of lifting more silverware next week against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final next Sunday.
