Luis Enrique maintains one hundred record both in Champions League games at the Camp Nou and in all competitions against Diego Simeone

The 2-1 victory against Atlético Madrid on Tuesday night means that Luis Enrique has still won every single Champions League at the Camp Nou since he became manager. In that time, he has seen his team score 27 goals and conced just five.

We take a look at some of the other statistical curiosities from a memorable quarter final first leg:

Luis Enrique has also maintained his one hundred per record against Atlético Madrid. All six games have been won by a single goal, and strangely, the three encounters this season have all involved the Catalans coming back from 1-0 down.

Atlético Madrid had only let in three goals in Europe this season until their visit to the Camp Nou. All three of those were scored by Benfica. This was also the first away defeat for the mattress-makers, who won two and drew one on the road in the group stage and then drew again in the round of sixteen.

Dani Alves had a top match, not only supplying the assist for Luis Suárez in the second goal, but also making ten crosses into the area, winning eight balls, clearing another eight and making 87 good passes out of a total of 107 (86.13%).
