Bartra reaches 100 games in the win over Eibar
The Catalan centre-back made his debut on 14 February 2010 Vicente Calderón and reached his first century of games on Sunday against Eibar

Marc Bartra made his 100th appearance for FC Barcelona on Sunday at Eibar after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The 25-year-old made his first-team debut under Pep Guardiola on 14 February 2010 at the Vicente Calderón against Atletico Madrid.

It was only in the 2012/13 season, when Tito Vilanova took over as manager, when Bartra became a first team squad member.
With established centre-backs like Piqué, Puyol and Mascherano ahead of him in the pecking order, Bartra’s playing time was limited. That was until injuires saw him feature in 16 matches, including both Champions League semi-final encounters against Bayern Munich.

He has gone on to feature 56 times in the league, 22 in the Champions League, 20 in the Copa del Rey, and one appearance each the Spanish and European Super Cup.

In the 2013/14 campaign with Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino at the helm, Bartra almost doubled his appearances from the previous season. Among the 30 matches played, Bartra started in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid where he also scored Barça’s only goal.

Things were not quite the same under Luis Enrique last season, as Bartra’s first team chances were limited to just eleven matches in all competitions, largely due to the consistency shown by Piqué and Mascherano at the heart of the defence.

Honours

Nevertheless, Bartra has contributed to a great deal of silverware in his career so far, winning every trophy possible with the first team: Four La Liga titles (2009/10, 2010/11, 2012/13 and 2014/5), one Copa del Rey (2014/15), two Champions Leagues (2010/11 and 2014/15), two Spanish Super Cups (2011/12 and 2013/14), two European Super Cups (2011/12 and 2015/16) and one Club World Cup.
