The team will train four times, play two games and have one day off over the next seven
Last week’s 7–0 drubbing of Valencia in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals at Camp Nou essentially rendered this week’s return leg at the Mestalla rather meaningless. Barring Armageddon, FC Barcelona will play 90 minutes of football on Wednesday night and then have their ticket stamped for the May final.
The week’s other game, however, will be no light-hearted get together. It will be at Camp Nou against Celta Vigo, who are likely to be coming off their own Copa del Rey elimination — Celta lost at Sevilla 4–0 in the other semi-final’s first leg last week and, despite playing the second leg at home this week, will have to pull off a miracle to sneak into the final.
