Three wins out of three for Gerard López’s team in which they have kept three clean sheets. The latest victory, a 1-0 win away at Hospitalet, allows Barça B to move into midtable with 28 points. The game was decided by an 8th minute strike from Kaptoum – from that moment on, a disciplined defensive performance from the blaugranes guaranteed all three points for the away side.

Full confidence after back to back victories, the B team began confidently against local rivals Hospitalet. Sergi Samper’s precise pass opened up space for Dani Romera who in turn found Kaptoum to finish calmly at the far post.

A second could have when Moisés’ ball into the box almost found Romera. One of the outstanding performers on the evening, Perea, also had an effort which was well saved just after the half hour mark.
In the second half Hospitalet came more into the game and Tia Sastre almost equalised when his shot came back off the post after 54 minutes. Barça B keeper Ortolà was called into action on the hour mark to make a save from Puerto.

Chances came for Barça too – substitute Chamarro could have added a second and Romera’s effort just clipped the post. Sergi Samper almost scored from the half way line when he spotted the keeper off his line. In the end Barça B comfortably held on to record an all important third consecutive win.
