Munir for Spain U21

Albert Celades also announced his U21 squad on Friday. He has included Barça’s Munir El Haddadi in the team for games next week against Georgia and Sweden.

On Friday morning, Spain manager Vicente del Bosque announced his squad of 23 players to take on Luxemburg (October 9) and Ukraine (October 12) in Euro 2016 qualifiers. The list includes four players from FC Barcelona: Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, Marc Bartra and Jordi Alba. But Andrés Iniesta has been left out after picking up an injury in the game with Bayer Leverkusen.

A win in either of those two games would guarantee that Spain will be playing in the finals in France next summer.

Ter Stegen too

Marc-André ter Stegen has also been named in his national team, Germany, for their two matches against Ireland and Georgia on October 8 and 11. Like Spain, Joachim Löw’s side are just one win away from clinching their place at France 2016.
