Neither the Brazilian nor Vermaelen have been declared fully fit but had no trouble joining in with today’s session
Munir, Sandro amd Samper of FC Barcelona B were also involved but Masip exercised separately
On Monday morning, the first team continued its preparations for its Champions League debut against Apoel Nicosia on Wednesday night at 8.45 PM CET. All of the squad were at the Ciutat Esportiva including Dani Alves and Thomas Vermaelen, despite neither having yet been declared fully fit. The Brazilian is still battling to recover in time from the knee injury that kept him side-lined for Sunday’s 2-0 against Athletic Bilbao.
Munir, Sandro and Samper of Barça B also joined the first team, while goalkeeper Jordi Masip continued working in isolation.
FC Barcelona will be back at work on Tuesday morning at 11.00 AM CET for the second to last session before the game, once again at the Ciutat Esportiva. Luis Enrique will give a press conference afterwards.
