The first team are headed for Seville where they will face Sevilla at the Sánchez Pizjuán at 9:00 PM CET
The 18 men named to the squad by Tata Martino, the coaching staff and the rest of the Blaugrana expedition departed for Seville this morning. They are expected to arrive approximately at noon. Vice-president Jordi Cardoner, directors Pilar Guinovart, Javier Bordas and Josep Ramon Vidal–Abarca, and the director of professional football, Andoni Zubizarreta are accompanying the team to the Andalusian city.
Once the plane touches down in Seville, the players will go to the team hotel and leave for the Sánchez Pizjuán a little over an hour before kick off, the game is scheduled to start at 9:00 PM CET.
Barça are without Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba, both suspended; last minute injury absentee Carles Puyol joins the injured Neymar Jr, Oier, and Jonathan dos Santos, and Isaac Cuenca who didn’t make the cut. Ibrahim Afellay takes Puyol’s place in the 18 man squad.
