Three more points would put Barça within six of clinching the title

Levante are coming to the Camp Nou after letting in nine goals in just two games

The Liga title is getting closer than ever. After emphatic wins against Mallorca (5-0) and Zaragoza (0-3), Barça aren’t far from mathematically clinching top spot. They only need nine more points, either won themselves or dropped by Real Madrid, out of the 21 that are left to play for in the championship. And they have a great chance to secure three of them tonight at the Camp Nou against Levante (20.00, GolT i Canal + Liga).

Bayern on the horizon

This league fixture comes just days before the crucial Champions League visit to Bayern, so it is a complete mystery what kind of side Vilanova and Roura will choose to field.

The only confirmed absentees are Pinto, Puyol and Mascherano, but although both Busquets and Messi have made excellent progress this week with their respective injuries, it’s extremely doubtful that either of them will be risked.

Levante in comfort zone

Levante are coming to the Camp Nou after suffering two heavy defeats in a row, 5-1 at Real Madrid and 4-0 at home to Deportivo. They haven’t won away in 2013 and will also have to deal with the absence of the suspended Iborra. The Valencia based side have been the surprise package in Spanish football in recent years, and already seem to have ensured that they’ll be playing top flight football once again next season. They’re 13 points clear of the relegation zone, and 10 short of a place in Europe, meaning that they have little left to play for, and can afford to come to the Camp Nou to enjoy playing without any major pressure on their shoulders.
