The Barça players were back in training on Wednesday to prepare for Saturday’s home league clash against Levante and Tuesday’s trip to Munich.
Iniesta and Alba, who were rested for last weekend’s visit to Zaragoza, took a full part in today’s training session while Pinto and Sergio followed specific exercise programmes.
After a two-day rest, it was back to work for the senior squad this Wednesday morning. The session was held at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with the focus very much on the next two games. First up is the league match in the Camp Nou against Levante on Saturday (kick-off 8 pm) followed by Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg away to Bayern Munich (kick-off 8.45 pm). The session was led by Tito Vilanova and involved all the available first team players including Iniesta and Jordi Alba, who were rested for the Zaragoza match last weekend. Masip, from Barça B, also took part in the session.
Pinto (lumbago) and Sergio (groin) worked out separately. Meanwhile, Messi continued with his physio treatment.
