The first team will train six times, the first with the internationals still away, and the last in Paris, the day before they face PSG

FC Barcelona have two away fixtures in Easter week. The first is on Saturday at 18.00 at Balaídos, home of Celta, in the 29th Liga match of the season. Then on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes they play the first leg of their UCL quarter final with Paris Saint-Germain. The first is all about holding into their handsome lead at the top of the Spanish championship table, while in the other they will be looking to pick up a good result to take into the second leg at the Camp Nou.

The squad will train six times in the meantime, with the players progressively returning from their respective international matches.

Evening sessions

The first two sessions of the week will both start at 18.00. On Tuesday, most of the first team will still be away, buy by Wednesday most of them should all be back. As usual, the venue for these sessions will be the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

On Thursday morning at 11.00, everyone, including the South Americans, should be available to continue preparations for the trip to Galicia. On Friday at 16.30, they’ll be meeting for the last time at the Ciutat Esportiva and after that, the nest stop will be Vigo.

PSG the focus on Sunday and Monday

After the game at Balaídos (18.00), the players will be flying straight back to Barcelona, where they have Sunday morning training at 11.00, with the focus now exclusively on the Champions League and French outfit Paris Saint-Germain.

On Monday morning the players and staff will be heading for Paris (for the second time in a week in the case of the Spanish internationals). In keeping with the competition’s tradition, the team will train at the same venue as the match on the evening before. That will be the last training session before the big game with PSG gets underway at 20.45 on Tuesday night.
