FC Barcelona B drew one-all with UD Las Palmas in a match marked by poor pitch conditions due to the intense rain in Barcelona
The team led by Eusebio Sacristán was unable to beat Las Palmas in a match where the pitch slowly deteriorated into a pseudo-swimming pool. Barça B dominated the first half and went to the break with a one-goal advantage thanks to a strike from Gerard Deulofeu. In the second half, however, the water-saturated pitch didn’t allow Barça B to play to its strengths. Las Palmas took advantage of the situation and drew level thanks to a goal from Chrisantus. The Azulgrana enjoyed the last chance of the game with a free kick just outside the visiting team’s area (min. 93), but Araujo sent the ball over the crossbar.
Match report to be posted shortly.
