Luis Enrique oversaw ten first-team players plus Ortolà, from Barça B
On Thursday morning, FC Barcelona completed their third workout of week. Head coach Luis Enrique conducted a session consisting of 11 players, 10 from the first team and goalkeeper Ortolà, from Barca B. The majority of the players are away with their national teams this week. The big news of the day was that Dani Alves trained with the group after working out individually on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thomas Vermaelen continued to partially train with the group on Field 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva. Here’s the full list of those in attendance at Thursday’s session: Jordi Masip, Ortolá, Alves, Martín Montoya, Xavi Hernández, Luis Suárez, Douglas, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Jérémy Mathieu and Vermaelen.
