The Barça squad had their final training session on Sunday ahead of the Gamper Trophy on Monday

Ter Stegen and Vermaelen continued with their recovery programmes while Xavi and Neymar have still not been fully cleared by Club doctors

Luis Enrique took charge of the 24-man squad for Sunday’s training session, where there were congratulations all round for proud new father Martín Montoya.  Xavi Hernández and Neymar Jr participated in today’s session but have still not been fully cleared by Club doctors.  Meanwhile, Adriano joined the group for part of the session.

For Luis Suárez it was his second chance to train alongside his new team-mates following his debut on Friday.

Ter Stegen and Vermaelen

New boys Ter Stegen (back) and Vermaelen (right leg) did specific work apart from the main group to continue their recovery from injury.  The senior squad was boosted in today’s session by three players from Barça B, Grimaldo, Samper and Munir. 

Tomorrow (Monday), FC Barcelona will face Mexican champions Club León in the Joan Gamper Trophy.  It will be the first chance for the fans to take a close look at the new signings.
