Tata Martino is taking his complete squad to Elche, including the injured Piqué, Puyol, Dos Santos, Neymar and Jordi Alba
Víctor Valdés stays in Barcelona to continue his recovery programme
FC Barcelona trained for the last time this morning before heading south for the crucial Liga fixture away to Elche on Sunday (7.00 PM CET). A win at the Martínez Valero will keep Barça in the chase for the title, with a showdown against direct contenders Atlético Madrid at the Camp Nou on the final weekend. So Tata Martino has decided to take his full squad with him on the trip, all 19 available players plus the injured Piqué, Puyol, Neymar, Dos Santos and Jordi Alba. The only player to stay in Barcelona is Víctor Valdés, who will be doing recovery work.
After doing specific exercises in previous sessions, Dani Alves and Xavi were able to train normally today. The team leaves for Alicante on Sunday morning and their flight should arrive some time around 11.00 AM CET.
